demakatI don't have to work until 10 tomorrow, luxury. All next week I have to be up early though because our main safe person is going on vacation.
Last week I don't think I actually used any overtime, but the store manager was all "well go ahead clock in" "but I don't want to have over time or anything, and I stayed late some other days so..." "Go for it you're worth it" So um compliment? I really don't apply value to myself. I apply value to other people but someone telling me I'm worth stuff just confuses the shit out of me. Its like someone telling me "you are made of gravel" uh...thanks? you're made of gravel too? The bad part is that I nearly cried after that until I realized how much stuff I had to do (the whole week was just a crying over lint sort of week)
I didn't majorly mess anything up it seems, so yay. We broke some record sales in some departments over the mother's day weekend. I also managed to make a pretty nifty looking sign for an endcap as well as an awesome flyer for a gift card giveaway that should be eye catching Oooo fancy!
did not put my laundry away, but did update my ipod. I'm considering taking all extra money out of my savings and using it to pay some extra off of the card that's been handling my toll fees for driving to work. AND I heard from my boss that this summer sounds like some major overtime might happen. If I had time to sleep I could probably do my job for a few days without any sort of problems so I am not upset about this. also AC at work, and our office opening right into an area with a lot of cooler doors, that tend to get opened and closed a lot.
and now for some mooosics and drawing things!
