scaredy scared.
Jan. 28th, 2012 10:00 pmI heard about a job opening for something that fits my degree in graphic design while staying within the current company I'm at. Its a full time assistance position so I have a better chance of getting it than the other ones I applied for and them wanting "more experienced" people. But that could likely be lots of people's issues and this is exactly what I and they have been wanting. Hardly ever does a full time assistant position open up, let alone an artist's position.
And so I had stuff sort of all set up and ready to go. I kind of want to think of a cute way to display my portfolio, but I can work on that.
I am scared, because I might actually get this. But I can't think about actually getting it because then I really won't.
I am so grateful for my job. I would be excited to get the other one and then they can fill the front end with new people.
I would either have to drive every day, or two trains and a bus each day. Plus I am pretty sure the bus would not run all the times I needed it to. BUT I did one train all the time for school into the city and I miss it. Okay maybe not the sitting on a train forever, but certainly the city itself.
edit: okay just spewed all over an email to a friend all the math financial stuff. I will either need to drive in all the time or preferably take a 2 trains and a bus. So even if I do make more money transport there will eat into it.
and now I have a headache. I think its time to go play some harry potter or something.
