(no subject)

demakatI just got off a 48 hour work week. The CEO of our company (which is technically international I guess, canada and the uk count right?) is coming to our store and a near by store. My boss is doing what will probably be 6 day week on top of the 11 hour days we've been pulling. That's just for sign stuff.
I guess I should feel more stressed out than I do. I am going to use what I learned and apply it to the major holidays in the winter. I should be packing a giant bag of food and all the water bottles I can find* Things I that aren't super messy because I can eat in the office while I work. (french fries are not a good idea, but super super fresh from the grill they are amazing and keep me from killing people due to sleep dep. and hunger)
Its still hard to get use to the fact that I can just like...wander off and take a break. That no one is going to poke their head out of an office and be all "what are you doing?! get back to your cell...I mean office" I think a seafood guy explained it best, with so few people everyone knows when you aren't doing your share of the work. So long as I do my share of the work no one really cares what else I do. Its pretty awesome, I'm just not fully aware of how awesome yet.
and now my youngest sister is down stairs shouting about things with my mom. joy. at least if I could move out the shouting would just be annoying and not concerning too.
*AH! I lost my metal starbucks coffee tumbler. I loved that thing cause it was like a sippy cup but giant. I just put water in it all the time, but it was also insulated so it would keep my water super cold. Now I just have the glass bottles. Its not the same :( I have no idea where I put it, I don't even remember the last time I had it (before the start of this week I think) and I've been looking in all my areas all week. I think I just have to give in and get myself a kleen cantine or whatever they're called. I have to check my friend's house, but if its really gone the change I haven't managed to turn in will go toward that I guess.
